I've read the books it's based on, they are light but fun and enjoyable :)
So yeah when I heard they were being made into a show, I was certainly curious

Ah, I've read the first book. It was fun.

(In the novel the guy has the hair/sideburns of a confederate soldier). :)

I've also seen the pre-air pilot. Not too bad. Great concept, but I'd be interested to see where a series could take it.

Saw Nightwatch at a film fest a few years back... never got around to seeing daywatch...

Been kinda avoiding reading it as in the past stuff translated from Russian has left me somewhat disjointed :P

Fair enough. Have heard the books are well-superior to the film(s). Myself have experienced neither.
