Anth already plugged it... and better than I could have.
But I have to as well.
Look up a TV show called 'Heroes'.
Watch it.

Trust me on this one. |

Hello,
I read with some bemusement about the ‘hacking’ of Family First’s website. And as one who commented on the page yesterday I feel that the record must be set straight.
Yesterday when I visited the site there was already one of the critical blog posts on the page. I could not see anywhere obvious to make an entry, but the text “BLOG ENTRIES” was a link. Clicking on this link opened a form to make a new entry… No passwords, no security of any kind.
In fact, I have looked up Google’s cached version of the blog page (url below) and the problem was present before any critical posts were made. This was not an act of hacking, but an amusing design flaw in the party’s website (witch they admit was re-designed recently).
Just setting the record straight.

[EDIT: A message I sent to the herald-sun comment forums that was almost completely cut'n'pasted from this was nocked back by their moderators] |
