Reading news about this government frustrates me almost to the point of tears.

I can't comprehend it, I really can't. Let's call it a "pathetic stunt" when the Opposition calls us on being sneaky bastards. Let's spout lies and irrelevancies whenever someone challenges us, because we know that the public are too stupid and/or apathetic to do anything about it (or even notice).

Argh. :(

How the hell the government thinks it can call it a "stunt" when there's no fricken way anybody with a sane mind could even try to debate a 700 page document that's just been dumped on the table is beyond me. This is well and truly beyond spin, into the realm of back stabbing and knifing.

On a related tangent, I went to see Serenity with a friend on Saturday. She's a member of the Liberal party. When a Liberal party member starts saying that she has serious issues with the Prime Minister, you know there's something seriously wrong with the people in power.

ah, now i understand. this is a variant on my driving tourettes. you have liberal tourettes.

mine can be controlled by using public transport. yours, sadly, tends to run pretty solid for repeated four year intervals.
